In this video we conduct a slightly unscientific test comparing 3 of the focusing systems used in cameras today: Phase detection; Contrast detection and manual focus with a rangefinder. We use the Canon 5D Mark II, Olympus E-P1 and the Leica M9 to see which one offers up the best method for focusing.

Brugge 2009

A visit to Brugge with my mum and my children, Xavier, Alexander and Cassandra. The music is a track I composed and recorded called "The Sunflower Enigma". This totally marries my love of photography and music. I've been composing since I was 12 (many years ago now) and got into photography a couple of years ago when I bought a Nikon D80 with an 18-200mm VR lens.
